West Michigan protests after Roe v. Wade Decision

People are gathering Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids after the Supreme Court released the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

At Bronson Park in Kalamazoo, at least 100 people gathered around 5 p.m. carrying signs and chanting in support of abortion rights.

In Grand Rapids, a few dozen people gathered at Monument Park with similar signs and messages.

Representatives for Michigan's Reproductive Freedom for All ballot initiative were at both events asking for signatures to support an initiative that would put the issue on the ballot in November.
