Country singer and former The Voice contestant Kata Hay was arrested on accusations that she had sexual contact with her son's friend, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ.

The documents allege that Hay, 35, began making sexual comments about the 16-year-old in front of his parents while staying at the family's Sumner County, Tennessee home for a brief period of time.

The teen claimed the comments turned physical, alleging that Hay made out with him and forced him to touch her inappropriately against his wishes multiple times.

The teenager's mother told authorities that she confronted Hay about the allegations and provided a recorded conversation in which she ordered the singer to leave their home, which the documents state includes Hay acknowledging the incident took place.

The legal documents note that the teenager's mother acknowledged that Hay appeared to be under the influence during their confrontation.

Hay was arrested in connection to the allegations, as well as processed for a probation violation in relation to a separate DUI case.

The singer responded to TMZ's request for comment with, "As you know a charge is not a conviction," but declined to provide additional details regarding the case.

Hay is best known for competing on the 2016 season of The Voice, finishing in the Top 20 before being eliminated during Week 1 of the live playoffs.
