Developer's new plans for the former DeltaPlex Arena & Conference Center are moving forward.
The Walker Planning Commission voted on Wednesday night to recommend the former space be rezoned to allow industrial planned unit development.
Commissioners also approved a preliminary plan for the first phase of the new project, Turner North.
Visser Brothers, Inc. plans to renovate the DeltaPlex into three suites with outdoor storage for one of the suite tenants.
Phase two of the project includes building a 165,000 square foot facility on the western portion of the property.
