1 A Michigan judge on Tuesday ruled that the state may not enforce a dormant 91-year-old state law banning most abortions should the U.S. Supreme Court no longer recognize a woman’s right to terminate her pregnancy.
The judge who ruled, Judge Gleicher, has made annual donations to Planned Parenthood of Michigan and once represented them as a volunteer attorney in the 1990s.
Gleicher refused to recuse herself.
2 The homes of several Grand Rapids City Commissioners were vandalized Tuesday.
Multiple driveways were spray painted with "Defund GRPD" and "Abolish police", and a brick was found wrapped in newspaper articles about Patrick Lyoya's death with the words "There is blood on your hands" written on it.
Police are investigating the vandalism.

The average cost of gasoline in California hit $6 a gallon yesterday for the first time, and that price could spread nationwide by the end of the summer, analysts at JPMorgan said.
