Family of crash victim reacts after charges

A man in now facing criminal charges after a crash led to the death of a Western Michigan University student.

On November 3, 2021, 19-year-old Bailey Broderick was hit and killed by an alleged drunk driver as she was crossing a street near campus.

The driver was not charged until Wednesday.

Bailey's father Craig says he got choked up when he heard about the charges.

Craig Broderick says the charges finally brought some closure.
