LANSING, Mich. - On Wednesday, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Energy, saying it was "top priority" to keep Palisades, a nuclear power play in southwest Michigan, open.
This comes after the DoE urged the federal government to use Civil Nuclear Credit program resources to keep the facility open.
