Fulton Street Farmers Market celebrating 100 years

The Fulton Street Farmers Market has been a staple on Saturdays in Grand Rapids for decades.

This year marks 100 years for the market.

Fulton Street Farmers Market Executive Director Dana Eardley says they attribute their success to a supportive community.

The market was started during World War I by a handful of prominent women.

In the late 1920s, the market had grown to attract over a million customers a year.
