PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - The West Michigan Whitecaps are scheduled to take the field at LMCU Ballpark for the team's home opener tonight.
The Whitecaps begin a series against the Lansing Lugnuts.
The first 1,000 fans who arrive at the ballpark will receive free winter hats. The Dixieland Band will perform at the front gates.
LMCU Ballpark is making the transition to cashless transactions this season.
