Name Released of Break-In Suspect Shot, Killed by MSP Troopers

LAKETON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - On Tuesday, the Michigan State Police confirmed that 37-year-old Joseph Miller of Muskegon was the suspect troopers shot and killed in Laketon Township Monday afternoon.

The break-in happened around 2:40 p.m. Monday on Sugaridge Drive near West River Road in Laketon Township, north of Muskegon.

The troopers were not injured in the event, and have been placed on administrative leave, which is standard procedure.
