Former GM plant site in Wyoming has new owner

Over 12 years after General Motors closed its stamping plant on 36th Street in Wyoming, the site has a new owner with plans for redevelopment.

Franklin Partners LLC has purchased the site known as Site 36 for $5.25 million.

The company says they plane to build several manufacturing facilities at the site.

Franklin Partners co-founder Don Shoemaker says they have already been in contact with companies looking to expand or move to the area.
