GR coat drive has mission of warming teens

The Grand Rapids Mayor's Youth Council and Grand Rapids Public Library are holding a coat drive to get warm winter clothing for teens in need.

Cindy Gonzales with Out Community's Children, a program by the GR Mayor's Youth Council, says the goal is to help teens experiencing homelessness or poverty.

The drive runs through March 4.

Coats, hats, gloves and other winter gear will be accepted.
