SeaWorld Proposal Rejected by Michigan's Adventure Owners

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - On Tuesday, Cedar Fair LP, the owners of Michigan's Adventure and Cedar Point, rejected Sea World's unsolicited proposal that was offered at the beginning of February, according to a press release from the latter company.

Six Flags has offered to buyout the company in the past, offering $4 billion in 2019, but that was also turned down.

Cedar Point will open for the season May 7, and Michigan’s Adventure will open for the season May 28.
