A former teacher at a daycare near Caledonia is facing child abuse charges.
Julie Rees is charged with fourth-degree child abuse after she allegedly pushed a 3-year-old at Milestones' Child Development Center's campus near Caledonia.
The Kent County Sheriff's Office performed a joint investigation with Child Protective Services into Rees after several parents reported allegations against her.
The investigation report claims five physical abuse allegations, however only one incident had enough evidence to file charges.
