ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The Kent County Sheriff's Office is investigating a car crashing into a building near the Alpenhorn, Chasseral Drive intersection near Grand Rapids Monday morning.
Investigators say a 2013 Ford Edge ran a stop sign before crashing into the building, with the 32-year-old driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries. No one was inside the building at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation, but the sheriff’s office said alcohol is believed to be a factor.
