SeaWorld Offering to Purchase Cedar Fair

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Cedar Fair has confirmed that they have received a proposal to sell to SeaWorld.

On its website, Cedar Fair, which owns Michigan's Adventure, Cedar Point and several other amusement parks, called the proposal “unsolicited” and “non-binding.”

Six Flags also proposed to buy out the company back in 2019 for $4 billion, but that was turned down.
