Lewandoski's Market gets AED after owner saved life

Grand Rapids art icon Fred Bivins almost died while shopping at Lewandoski's Market recently.

However, owner Gary Szotko saved his life by performing CPR after Bivins collapsed.

Bivins says the rest of his life a a bonus thanks to Szotko and wanted to do something for him to say thank you.

Bivins, along with other local contributors, raised money to purchase an AED( Automatic External Defibrillator) for the market.
