Former FBI agent accepts plea deal for assaulting wife

A fired FBI agent who worked on the investigation into the plot to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer is accepting a plead agreement.

Richard Trask is accused of assaulting his wife.

Trask told the judge he has no memory of the assault in July but he takes responsibility for it.

He pleaded no contest to a charge of aggravated assault and agreed to never work in law enforcement in the state again.
