The Big Three 12-13-21

1 The cleanup continues today. Dozens were killed during an outbreak of deadly tornadoes across the Midwest Friday night. The storm spanned eight states with tornadoes leveling entire towns. A candle factory in Mayfield Kentucky and an Amazon warehouse in in Illinois were completely destroyed killing six.

Kentucky, Illinois, Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee were all hit hard.

FEMA chief Deanne Criswell says powerful storms like the ones responsible for the weekend's widespread damage are the "new normal" in an era of climate change.

2 15,000 in Michigan still without power this morning after high winds over the weekend. At its peak, some 150,000 households were in the dark Saturday.

3 The 15-year-old accused of opening fire at his Michigan high school, killing four students, is due in court for a procedural hearing.
