IONIA (WOOD-AM) - A list of charges have reportedly been dismissed against a former Lowell police officer who opened fire at a stolen vehicle during a pursuit last summer.
Jason Diaz said he fired at the car because it was coming toward him, but his body camera shows that the vehicle was turning away. A passenger in the vehicle suffered a graze wound to their head.
Diaz resigned after the incident.
