Some neighbors of Ottawa Hills High School say the district should increase security after as many as 50 shots were fired near their homes on Tuesday.
The shots were fired after fights broke out in the gym and ended the basketball game between Ottawa Hills and Union high schools.
Officials say it is not clear if the fight and the shots are related.
Police say cars and homes were struck with bullets but no one was injured.
