State Health Officials Issue New Masking and Quarantine Guidelines

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has announced a series of new in-school masking and quarantine guidelines.

The agency says they want to streamline recommendations as more students take their first vaccine doses.

Decisions on quarantine and isolation procedures are still being made at the local level.
