After Five Months, Holland Superintendent Leaves

HOLLAND, Mich. - The Holland Public Schools' board announced that Superintendent Shanie Keelean, who had only been in the position for five months, is leaving.

Officials with the school say there was no misconduct, and that the board and Keelean had reached a "mutual agreement" that she would leave.

Holland Middle School Principal Nick Cassidy will step in as interim superintendent until someone is hired on a permanent basis.
