1 Cornerstone University’s faculty passed a vote of no confidence in new president Gerson Moreno-Riaño, just five months after he was announced as the Christian school’s 12th president.

Gerson Moreno-Riano, faces backlash. Some woke faculty members have alleged that Moreno-Riano is opposed to diversity, equity and inclusion efforts at the school.

They say he has created an environment of fear and suspicion by firing staff who support DEI.

2 Biden just wrapped up a meeting with the Pope this morning on his European vacation trip.

Yesterday he made headlines when word came out that the adminis in talks to offer immigrant families that were separated during the Trump administration around $450,000 a person in compensation, according to people familiar with the matter, as several agencies work to resolve lawsuits filed on behalf of parents and children who say the government subjected them tolasting psychological trauma.

The payments could amount to close to $1 million a family.

3 Facebook is changing its name. Sort of.

Facebook is changing its company name to … Meta. Facebook will still exist, of course, but only as one product under the larger company umbrella.
