MI bill would allow two-year vehicle registration

Michigan drivers may soon have the option to renew their license plates every two-years.

A bill with bi-partisan support would allow drivers to choose between one and two-year vehicle registrations.

A spokesperson for Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says the office supports the legislation.

The bill is now headed for the Senate.
