Suspect Arrested After Sexually Assault Jogger in SE GR

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Police Department arrested Sedekie Jabateh after he allegedly sexually assaulted a jogger Thursday morning in southeast Grand Rapids.

The 25-year-old woman said she was jogging on Rowland Avenue near East Paris and Burton, where she was grabbed.

Jabateh was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, assault with intent to commit sexual penetration and lying to a peace officer. If convicted, he faces life in prison.
