A man is in custody after allegedly assaulting a female jogger in southeast Grand Rapids.
Grand Rapids Police say the incident happened on Thursday around 6 a.m. near Rowland Avenue and East Paris Avenue.
The 25-year-old woman says she was jogging when a stranger grabbed her, dragged her into the woods and sexually assaulted her.
The suspect ran away and the victim called police.
Sedekie Jabateh was arrested and taken to the Kent County Jail.
