John Ball Zoo is looking at the possibility of bringing a premier aquarium to West Michigan.
The zoo is conducting a feasibility study to see where the best fit is for the aquarium.
Jake Eckholm, Muskegon's development services director, says they have been looking at ways to maximize the lakefront.
City leaders say there are several locations that could house the proposed aquarium.
