A man is facing charges after a video was taken showing him repeatedly punching a dog.
Jon Robert Wilcox is charged with cruelty to an animal.
Kent County Prosecuting Attorney Christopher Becker says the charge could be punished with a $1,000 fine, up to 200 hours of community service and 93 days in jail.
The court could also order the man give up the dog and under go a psychiatric evaluation.
