A video of a man punching a dog has prompted an investigation by Kent County Animal Control.
The video was taken south of Ann Street NW in Grand Rapids at an industrial area.
Kent County Animal Shelter Director Angela Hollinshead says they sent an officer to the area on Friday to investigate however, the man was no longer in the area.
She says they are working with law enforcement.
