GRPD Holding Meetings to Gather Public Input on Chief Opening

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Police Department is hosting four public meetings allowing the public to give input on what they want from their new police chief.

Grand Rapids is looking for the replacement of current Chief Eric Payne, who retiring early next year.

The meetings, all of which will be virtual, are scheduled for:

  • 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 13
  • 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 16
  • 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 16
  • 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19.
