Whitmer Signs $70 Billion State Budget

LANSING (WOOD-AM) - Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has signed a $70 billion state budget.

She signed $55 billion in spending yesterday, completing the process.

It includes $190 million to fix 100 highways and bridges. $14 million has also been set aside for PFAS elimination. Universities across the state are also slated to see a one percent permanent hike in support.
