WMU Appealing Ruling That Let Unvaccinated Athletes Play

KALAMAZOO (WOOD-AM) - Western Michigan University is reportedly going to appeal a federal judge's decision that let 16 unvaccinated school athletes play on their respective teams despite the athletic department's coronavirus vaccination requirement.

WOOD-TV says attorneys for the university are planning to appeal in a federal district court.

The athletes were seeking a religious exception.
