The city of Wyoming is considering a proposal that would put income tax on the ballot in May 2022.
The income tax would .5% for nonresidents and 1% for residents
The city would also lower the property tax millage from 11.9 to 5.0 by 2024 under the same proposal.
Wyoming City Manager Curtis Holt says the change would bring in an additional $6 million for the city annually.
