Science clearing mom in shaken baby case after 18 years

A West Michigan woman is free after 18 years behind bars for the death of her 11-month-old daughter.

Tonia Miller was found guilty in a shaken baby syndrome case in 2002, however more advanced science has proven the baby died from pneumonia.

Calhoun County has since reversed Miller's conviction.

Miller's lawyer, Mary Chartier, says Miller took her daughter to the doctor for help but she was told she was a paranoid parent.

Her daughter's pneumonia went undiagnosed.
