GRPD: Suspect Possibly Linked to Five Attempted Child Abductions

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Grand Rapids police are trying to find a suspect in five child abduction attempts since last Thursday on the northwest side.

The man has tan skin, is between 5-feet-10 and six feet tall and has a full black beard and a heavy build.

Police say he asks boys between five and 13 for help finding his lost dog.

The attempted abductions have been near Alpine Avenue and Richmond Street. Two have been near Harrison Elementary School.
