Grand Valley State University is cancelling their season opener due to COVID-19 concerns.
GVSU was set to play Edinboro on Saturday.
Grand Valley cited COVID-19 mitigation protocol with Edinboro as the reason for cancelling the game.
The school says they are looking to find a different team to fill their schedule.
