Police say a Holland man was arrested after he tied up his roommate's mother.
The incident happened on E. 17th Street near College Avenue.
Police say the 52-year-old woman went to her son's home on Tuesday to take care of his dog.
Her son's roommate, 57-year-old Kenneth Raymond-Herbert, allegedly grabbed her, threatened her with a knife, tied her up and then demanded money.
The woman was able to escape after a few hours.
