WMU Getting $2.5 Million Driverless Vehicle Grant

KALAMAZOO (WOOD-AM) - Western Michigan University engineers are getting a $2.5 million grant from the Department of Energy to further study autonomous vehicles.

Researchers will look at five data collection sensor issues.

The end goal is to find ways to make the vehicles more efficient and less expensive.
