Faculty members at Western Michigan University are calling for a COVID-19 vaccine requirement.
The WMU AAUP, a union representing faculty, sent a letter to the president and provost saying a majority of its members are in support on a vaccine mandate.
WMU spokesperson Paula Davis says the university has not changed its policy and its recommending but not requiring vaccines.
A survey by the union says most members do not think masks are enough to keep the campus community safe.
