The Portage Department of Public Safety is creating a safe exchange zone for residents to have a safe place to meet with people to buy or sell things from online.
The zone is just outside the headquarters of the department at 7810 Shaver Road.
The area will be under 24-hour video surveillance.
The area can also be used for child custody exchanges the department says.
