A 74-year-old woman has died after she was hit by a car north of Sunfield on Thursday.
The incident happened around noon on S. Sunfield Road near Bippley Road in Sebewa Township.
Officials say a driver moved into the opposite lane to give extra space to a utility truck and when the driver returned to their lane, they hit the woman who was walking along the road.
The woman was airlifted to Grand Rapids, where she died.
