Polls Open Across Michigan for August Primary

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Voters are heading to the polls for Michigan's August primary today.

Polls will remain open until 8 p.m. The absentee ballot return deadline is also 8 p.m.

Bond and millage questions are on ballots across the region. Kent County's Grattan Township and Muskegon County's Egleston Township have marijuana ordinances.

Voters in Kent County's northern half and western edge will be voting on Republican and Democratic nominees for the 28th Senate District.
