Man continued ice cream break-ins despite tether

Officials say a man broke into several ice cream shops, was arrested, and then did it again despite wearing a tether.

The incidents happened between July 22 and July 30.

Eleven ice cream shops were hit in Grand Rapids, Grandville, Walker and Wyoming.

Cameron Harris was arrested for outstanding warrants and was released with an electronic tether.

Ice cream break-ins continued to happen and when a detective checked Harris' location at the time of the break-ins, they found he was at the scenes.
