BATTLE CREEK (WOOD-AM) - Police in Battle Creek had to close a portion of Riverside Drive for a body recovery effort last night.
Crews were trying to recover the body from the Kalamazoo River. They were searching the area just before 8:30 p.m.
Police say they'll provide an update when the operation is complete.
