The Kent County Health Department says Gen Z is lagging behind when it comes to getting vaccinated against COVID-19.
Kent County Health Department Administrative Officer Adam London says roughly 50 percent of people between 12 and 29 have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
However, London says for people 65 and older the vaccination rate is closer to 83 percent.
When looking at different age groups, vaccination rates increase as age increases.
