Experts review MSP dashcam footage of deadly shooting

A police expert has some questions after reviewing dashcam footage of a Michigan State Police trooper shooting and killing a man near Hamilton.

Virgil-Lee Taylor was unarmed when he was shot and killed outside a home where his daughter lives with his mother.

The trooper was called to the home after a report of a break-in.

James Howard, a former officer of 36 years, who spent time training officers, says the video shows the trooper was confrontational from the beginning.

Howard says the trooper was too close to Taylor and did not have back-up which contributed to why the interaction became physical.
