Dispensary Seeking Approval For West Side Art Projects

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A pot shop in Grand Rapids is looking for final approval from the city manager before paying for seven west side public art projects.

The West Wealthy Beautification Project will include paintings on signal boxes, a piece that will cover a chain-link fence and new murals on the Pharmhouse Wellness dispensary.

“I think this is important because it helps tie this community back to its roots,” project manager Lynee Wells told WOOD-TV.

Wells says each work will be themed. Some will have a floral design, while others will focus on cultural heritage.
