MECOSTA TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - Sheriff's deputies in Mecosta County say a person is dead after a pickup driver fell asleep and struck a Buick Enclave near Northland Drive and 11 Mile Road in Mecosta Township.
Jeffrey Hayes, 52, died from his injuries. The Big Rapids man was a passenger in the Buick.
