Organizers are working to bring the Coast Guard Festival back to Grand Haven this year.
Last year was the first time the event had been cancelled in 96 years.
Festival organizers are waiting on final approval from The Grand Haven City Council on a tentative start date of July 30.
The city says over 300,000 tourists bring several million dollars to the area.
