Michigan's COVID restrictions to end Tuesday

Governor Whitmer and the Department of Health and Human Services are announcing the majority of remaining COVID restrictions will be rolled back on June 22.

In a news release, Whitmer says there will no longer be restrictions on gathering sizes, limits on the number of people in stores, restaurants or venues and the mask mandate will end.

Some rules may remain in place for more vulnerable populations in agriculture, long-term care and correctional facilities.

Private businesses may still require safety protocol or masks.
